Tyvek Housewrap White 1.5x50m
Tyvek Housewrap White is a classic single-layer HDPE membrane for protecting facade and roof structures from wind and water, while allowing free egress of water vapor from the inside out. It is suitable for steel, concrete, and timber structures, including timber frame constructions.
The membrane is installed on the cold side of the structure and protects the insulation from getting wet, preserving its thermal insulation properties throughout the entire service life of the building.

What is the difference between Housewrap and Solid?
Housewrap is lighter (61 g/m2 versus 82 g/m2 for Solid) and is primarily aimed at facade applications, while Solid is more versatile for roofs and facades.
How are overlaps sealed?
We recommend Tyvek Tape for staples and membrane overlaps.
