Tyvek FireCurb Housewrap 1.5x50m
Tyvek FireCurb Housewrap is a watertight, vapor-permeable membrane with added flame retardancy – self-extinguishing when ignited. It uses a halogen-free flame retardant coating that limits dripping and smoke formation with minimal environmental impact.
The membrane retains all the advantages of standard Tyvek membranes (water tightness, vapor permeability) but adds a fire reaction class of B-s1,d0 – an achievement almost no other membrane on the market reaches.

What does class B-s1,d0 mean?
This is a classification according to EN 13501-1 for reaction to fire – meaning low flammability, limited smoke production (s1), and no burning droplets (d0).
Is the installation different from standard Housewrap?
No, it is installed in exactly the same way – shingle-style, with 150-200mm overlap, secured with stainless steel staples.
What types of buildings is it suitable for?
It is suitable for all types of buildings – from single-family houses to high-rise buildings, where increased fire safety requirements apply.
