Tyvek AirGuard SD5 1.5x50m
Tyvek AirGuard SD5 is a vapor barrier and waterproof membrane, composed of DuPont Typar spunbond and ethylene-butylacrylate copolymer. It prevents the penetration of moist air from inside the building into the insulation layers of the wall and roof structure.
Thanks to its constant vapor barrier properties, AirGuard SD5 is suitable for buildings of climate classes 2 and 3 - residential buildings, offices, schools and similar. Extremely high tear resistance and easy processing.

What climate classes is SD5 suitable for?
It is suitable for buildings of climate classes 2 and 3, including residential buildings, offices, and schools.
How is AirGuard SD5 installed?
It is installed on the warm side of the wall and roof structure, secured with staples, with the logo facing inwards. Overlaps should be a minimum of 100mm.
How are staples and overlaps sealed?
We recommend sealing with Tyvek tape, and transitions and connections with VASTR Butyl tape or Tyvek FlexWrap tape.
