Tyvek Solid 1.5x50m
Tyvek Solid is a single-layer, diffusion-open membrane made of 100% HDPE, designed for the cold side of roof and facade structures. It provides complete waterproofing while allowing water vapor to freely exit the structure – this protects the insulation from moisture and extends the life of the roof.
The membrane is recommended for direct installation on a rigid base (board sheathing) for roofs, as well as on a rigid or soft base for facades. It is laid in a "tile-like" manner (overlapping from top to bottom), with a horizontal overlap of a minimum of 100 mm and a maximum of 200 mm.

How is Tyvek Solid installed?
The membrane is unfolded horizontally onto the roof structure, overlapping in a "tile-like" manner (from top to bottom), with a minimum overlap of 100 mm. It is temporarily fixed with stainless staples and finally secured by battens on the roof.
Can it be used on slopes below 15°?
For slopes between 15° and 25°, a heavier type of membrane is recommended (e.g., Tyvek Typrotec or Tyvek MaxProtect). Tyvek Solid is suitable for standard slopes above 25°.
What tape should be used to seal the overlaps?
We recommend Tyvek Tape (75mm) for overlaps and staples, available in our store.
