Which model should I choose?
Standard (AV1-3) are for general cutting; offset (AV6/7) for arcs; 90° offset (AV8/9) for tight spaces and overhead work; mini (AVM) for confined areas; Long Cut models (AV33/63/73) have an extended blade for faster, longer cuts on high-volume jobs.
What do the Long Cut models offer?
The AV33 (yellow handle) cuts straight, left, and right with a 3" cut length. The AV63 (red handle) and AV73 (green handle) feature offset left/right cutting with a 2-1/4" cut length. All three have a self-opening mechanism for one-handed operation.
What material are the jaws made of?
Forged hardened steel with a hardness that withstands prolonged use without the cutting edge dulling quickly.
How do I maintain the snips?
Periodically clean metal shavings and apply a light lubricant to the pivot for smooth operation over time.
