The Buschmann Universal Cutter transforms a standard cordless drill into a powerful shear for precise cutting of profiled and corrugated sheet metal. The attachment is specifically designed for roofing and facade work, where quick and clean cutting of trapezoidal and wavy sheets is required, without sparks and without overheating the metal coating.
The cutting is cold and entirely mechanical, which protects the zinc and painted coating of the sheet metal from damage. The result is a smooth, unburnt edge on one side of the cut, with no need for further processing. The shear achieves a cutting speed of up to 85 meters per minute and allows for free forming of straight lines, as well as curves with a radius of up to R100.
The tool weighs only 1.2 kg and features integrated finger protection in accordance with CE requirements, as well as a smoothly adjustable clamp that allows the drill to be rotated sideways during operation. This is especially useful when cutting along high profile edges where there is a risk of jamming.
